Introduction

Keep Australia Beautiful WA (KAB WA) Community Litter Grants

The KAB WA Community Litter Grants are available to Western Australian entities, including local governments, associations, community groups, small to medium enterprises, schools, events and festivals. The grants provide up to $10,000 per project for litter initiatives. A total of $60,000 is available in the 2025 round.

What's the difference between litter and waste? Litter is something that people discard on the ground and is not in its right place. Think of plastic in the waterways, cigarette butts or discarded food and drink containers. Waste is what is put into the bin and that’s all about resource recovery through recycling and reusing, and through sorting unwanted items into the right bin. KAB WA only funds litter projects. You can view previous grant recipients and their litter project at Community Litter Grants.

ABN
If your organisation does not have an ABN, you must have an auspice. An auspice is an organisation that will support you, has an ABN and will recieve any funds to distribute to you on your behalf.
